Krav Maga Shield Instructor Certifications are used to ensure constant improvement and quality instruction for every student in Krav Maga Shield schools and affiliates.

In many cases instructors of martial arts will focus too much on teaching from “the mat.” While time on the mat is critical to the development of any martial arts student, we believe students of Krav Maga Shield schools, and affiliates deserve a full body of instruction.

The certification not only covers the techniques that the instructor need to teach but also how to teach them using a layer method of instruction that ensures the success of all Krav Maga Shield students regardless of age or experience. The certification program also educates instructors on the proper use of stress drills and repetition for each age group.

Continuing education is of great importance for all Krav Maga Shield Instructors. This is why we have several levels of Instructor certification to make sure that Instructors are only teaching skills that they are proficient with and can continue to be students themselves during their teaching careers.
